to compensate for it yet. This affects the MAC
version of IE 4.0 only!)
|
| Is there anything I can do to improve the video quality? |
Be sure your desktop
is set up for at least 16-bit color (Not 16 color or 256 color),
so that you are getting the best quality.
|
I have a PC that meets the requirements above but I am not getting any video.
|
This can happen if you have too many windows open at once. Close everything. Open only your connection to the internet
and your web browser.
|
| I have WebTV |
WebTV has some special needs for viewing video pages. These needs require that your webmaster put up a separate page only for the eyes of WebTV users. If you've not found a link to such a page, you'll need to E-mail your webmaster directly and request that he upgrade the site with support for WebTV.
|
| I have AOL, but I can not see any video.
|
Goto the Help pull-down menu. Choose About America Online. If it does not say "America Online 3.0 for Windows 95" then goto Keyword UPGRADE and upgrade to "AOL 3.0 for Windows 95".
Regardless of whether you needed to upgrade, make sure all of your applications are closed.
Then open only AOL and try viewing video again.
It is possible for video to take 1 minute to start on AOL.
|
| Video is not working and I have a Macintosh PowerPC or better |
Restart your computer. Open only your internet connection and your web browser.
Note: Netscape 3.x does not give back memory to the computer which leads to
an eventual system restart. Upgrade to the most current version of Netscape.
Apple has a new version of Java that you can download from their website if
you are still experiencing problems:
http://applejava.apple.com
Note, this requires that you are running System 8.0, but hey, I would bet they have fixed alot of bugs.
